Can I request to be published through Aurichalcum Publishing?
No. Aurichalcum Publishing is a vehicle for self-publishing, and isn’t equipped to accept unsolicited submissions.
Can I buy your books on a platform other than Amazon?
Yes! Aurichalcum Publishing uses Draft2Digital to distribute to as many stores as possible, and uses Books2Read universal links so you can buy our books from your preferred platform.
Your book didn’t declare content that was triggering/squicky/kinky.
Thanks for letting us know! Please send us an email at safe@aurichalcumpublishing.com to tell us which book, series and scene had the material in question. We don’t censor our books, but we do take effort to declare any content that might be an issue. Though we may not be able to change the warnings in current editions, we can add a note in our book list and on our distributors and can update the lists in subsequent editions.
Please note that we do curate our lists, and are particular about phrasing and implication. Though we will take all efforts to ensure our readers can be comfortable in picking up our books, not all content warnings requested may make it into our lists. For instance, we do not classify ‘homophobia’ as a warning, but might warn for ‘hate speech (against homosexuality)’. This is because listing discrimination against gay people as a phobia implies that discrimination is a medical issue rather than a social one. Likewise, we would not warn for ‘gay kissing’, because this implies that homosexuality ought to be considered problematic.
Can I suggest a content warning for your lists?
Thank you for your interest in our lists! If one of our books doesn’t declare content that was disturbing to you please email us to let us know. Otherwise, while we understand the desire to help curate something as delicate as content warnings, at this stage unsolicited suggestions are impractical.
We consider each book in the context of their series, and add to our lists based on whether a warning is applicable to book being released. Suggestions mean that we would have to go through items individually to determine whether they are applicable. Our lists are a living document, and we are constantly adding to them based on the books being released.
Can I see your current content warning lists?
Of course! Our current content warnings can be found in the List page.
If you have any questions about our practices, please feel free to email us at safe@aurichalcumpublishing.com.
